If you know what you're doing with any open source software then you probably have an opinion about what you need and don't need. I decided that when I install QP it should install the plugins I want installed, even if they are not part of the core distribution. The only way to do that is to have the installer look for plugins and install all that it finds. This branch does that.
UPDATE: branch merged into core on 2011-07-13. Yay!
