Does this allow people to subscribe to comments like Yab's comment subscribe used to ? As in I am not registered on the blog but I am leaving a comment and I want to be notified via email when someone posts a reply?

Note to self: turn off this comment moderation thing!

I'm not too familiar with Yab's plugin, but this one basically registers a user while subscribing them. It was originally made for a site that wanted the people registered on the theory that more registered users was better. Can't argue pro or con on that, but it was the basis for this thing.

... and since this plugin is not active here you've no way of knowing I'm replying so I see the obvious value in NOT requiring registration. *sigh* back to the drawing board...

Yeah, that was the basic premiss of Yab's plugin. You don't want people subscribing to your site but people like to be able to be notified when a comment is posted.

Obviously you have to go all the way and allow people to unsubscribe from comment notifications as well. I might have a copy of Yab's plugin somewhere if you were thinking of adding that functionality. Not converted to QP yet but might give you an idea of what it did.
